Dave Stephens announced his retirement after 29 years as Superintendent of Eagle Point Golf Club. Course designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr. hired Dave as EPGC’s first employee and has been the only Superintendent in the club’s history. He now passes the torch to JD Clarizio.
JD was born into a family-owned golf course, where he was mowing grass with the maintenance crew by age 8. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Turf Management from Oregon State University and has had an impressive 38-year career as superintendent and consultant at various courses throughout the state of Oregon.
EPGC is thrilled to welcome JD to the team and looks forward to what his passion and experience will bring to our renowned club.
