Southern Oregon native, Jeffery Mansfield is the accomplished Executive Chef of the Talon Grill, located within the manicured grounds of the charming and inviting Resort at Eagle Point. Chef Jeff brings twenty years of honing his culinary craft on a global palate to the Talon Grill, having pursued his growing career throughout Europe after graduating with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
With eight months of work and culinary creations now in the books at the Talon Grill, Chef Jeff, is striving to establish the restaurant as a premier dining destination in Southern Oregon. The golf course, resort and picturesque setting will perfectly accent your dining experience at the Talon Grill, where offerings showcase delicious local fare. The entire property at the Resort is open to the public, making this a true regional hot spot. Jeff spent two months creating the popular new menus which features Pacific Northwest cuisine that is tasty and tempting weather you’re looking for a delectable appetizer at the bar to compliment a craft cocktail or ale, or, choosing to create lasting memories with fine dining.
“I did not want to make drastic changes overnight when coming to the Talon Grill and instead have been focusing on small changes that will have large impacting results” Chef Jeff explains. He is referring to the vision he shares with his team to continue building up the onsite organic garden. A garden, where seasonal offerings allow his culinary team to gather handpicked fruits, vegetables and herbs to prepare that same day for guests.
Upon accepting the position, Chef immediately set to work building relationships with as many local farmers and Southern Oregon wineries as possible to ensure the regions delectable, award winning offerings would highlight his new menu. Creating a memorable dining experience for individual patrons and families alike, while ensuring local, sustainable cuisine where quality and consistency are the cornerstones that will confirm the Talon Grill is the regional dining destination he seeks to establish.
